Vintage VSA850 white falcon style semi acoustic

here's a quick demo of my Vintage vsa850, which we call the white vulture due to the dodgy bird drawn on the scratchplate...

i suspect that this is a pre trev wilkinson vintage, as none of the hardware has his cheeky moniker stamped on.

as i say in the vid, this has GFS Dream 90s which replaced the Filter'tron style humbuckers.

i got my brother to play on this one, who'd been awake for about five minutes.

the gfs pickups do not do an £800 guitar justice the original pickups sound better to my ear. I would have fitted filtrons as they sound much better or tv Jones if I were flush. I own this guitar plus 2 gretches and can say I would not change a thing on the vsa850.

it sounds very bright in this demo like as if you were playing thorough a vox ac30 top boost-not a bad sound really. is that mostly the pickups? what did that guitar cost you by the way?

Like you said, because I noticed from the notes...No matter how bad it is, atleast you have the guts to put it up...But this was really good, so it doesn't matter, lol, and inspired me to get one. Its nice to see that you are "close" to your brother. Ha, do you really have an endorsement deal with Vintage? They are one of my favorite brands!
