As a life-long Mormon I can definitely say the Book of Mormon does not make you happy. We were always taught that a person who would read it & ask God to tell them if it was true would feel God manifesting the truth of it to them. LoL. Yeah. It's really thinking you have "the special truth of God" that makes you feel happy. Thinking you are so special & know something others don't makes you "feel" happy. But it's NOT true! Look at the DNA - American natives are not related to Jews!

I BELIEVE you should read the actual Book of Mormon to see why we are so happy. It's more than reading it too - its a way of life that is so simple but seems to be so hard for some people who live as the world directs them. Much love u two
