trans am burnout through 2nd

out testing my new transmission crossmember and 3500 stall. car has hedman longtube headers and 2 1/2 custom ory into a single 3.5 i pipe with cutout and 3in over axle into a stock ls1 muffler. i had the cutout closed for this video.

@mikewashere01 yes i daily drove this thing for about a month when my yukon was own for a new rearend. i had the converter custom built to the specs of a motor i was building for this car that i never finished. i told them it was going to be a street car so i wanted i to be tolerable on the street. it was loose enough that i knew it was there but not too crazy that i hated it. im running this transmission and converter in my ls1 swaped car now.

@tomastilrem no in this video it was a single exhaust with a stock muffler from a 2002 trans am but i had no cat and had longtube headers

she's got some guts! what's under the hood? doesn't sound stock. when's the paint coming on? i have a 1991 gta, thinking about swapping the 5.7 for an ls1. would i need to change the transmission and gears too?

@barryhorne10 it actualy has a 305 under the hood! it has a summit 1103 cam 1.6 roller rockers shaved 416 casting heads performer rpm intake edelbrock carb. it runs real well and im happy with how it run but im selling the car or i mean part it out actualy. im keeping my transmission and stall and b&m megashifter for my 86 trans am. you do not need to change your rear gears for a motor swap it all just deends on what gears you have for what you wanna do with the car though. ur trans will work
