Attention some people, it's NOT Bush's fault.. educate yourself please.! It's bad business practices, bad lending, and all the above. Let me lend you the $ for a house you can't pay for and see what happens to myself. Bankrupt I am now! How these CEO's get multi million $ bonuses, maybe we should give that $ to the ppl that are struggling to keep there house. A part of the bad loans the banks lent out to ppl that couldn't afford it. I hate Bush, but your right it is not Bush's fault, his administration threw up alarms about Fanni Mae/Freddie Mac financial policies since he took office. He was worried about low-income loans that were mandated by Congress and promoted by guys like Barney Frank. Now Barney wants us to pay 700 billion dollars for his bad fiscal policies. And let us not forget, that the lenders were all to happy to give "ninja" loans. Greed is what caused this. Now we all suffer. This is a crime.
