The King of Fighters XII | 'Select' Soundtrack

About 2D Fighting games, world wide, no doubt: SNK PLAYMORE's The King of Fighters XII was one of the most desired titles of 2009 alongside Street Fighter IV (keeping fortunately 2D gameplay system) & BlaZBlue. However, the game suffers from a weird reputation since its release. Personally I do not understand how it is possible to reject such a beauty...

Sure, this is an opinion and only mine but (in terms of gameplay, fun, depth, flexibility, animation and, most of all, sensory) I've to say KOF XII is the one I always dreamed of. Pleasurable.

However, here is a part of the KOF XII Special OST offered with the japanese NTSC console game version through the 'KOF 15th Anniversary Special Soundtrack' disc. The followers will recognize this OST piece called 'Select' without any problem. Indeed, this is the very pleasant track used in-game during the team members & the members ordrer select.
I just sincerely hope this personnal editing (giving a semblance of life to this OST morsel) and the sound quality will please some players liking (or loving as I do ^^) this huge game.

I totally agree Gravelneed's advice (^^). Especially about KOF'98 (i.m.a. I recommend the original vers° & not UM one). KOF'98 is the most popular and the most coherent, most well-balanced of all before KOF XII. You'll be able to learn all basics on KOF '98 (^°). KOF '2002 offers the same pleasurable gameplay... but is just insipid graphically speaking...

However, take care, KOF XII offers some similar basics but also brand new, revisited ones... Enjoy!

@rmnhn The best games amongst fans are '98 UM, 2002 UM, and XI. Each game offers different gameplay systems so try those out and see which one you like the best.

Out of the three, I say start with KOF '98 Ultimate Match and work your way up to the other two.

I tried to do my best with simple screenshots (no video capture at all... for the time being ^°) and tried to give a bit rhythm & life to the stuff.

As I wrote to answer to Atarix777 & brewt1mer, this is a kind of editing 'baptism' (^^). A kind of simple slideshow but made with love (^^).
