I agree with some points this sister makes but If a man can have sex with another women his wife should do the same it's a individual decision whether it's a shortage of men, or not it doesn't matter. Let me first say that I am a black female who truly admires African culture (for the most part). But I am a bit hesitant to take MARITAL or SEX advice from someone who's country is stricken with AIDS. Just saying.

I am a black woman and regardless of how many children I am capable of having compared to my husbands ability to impregnate the entire planet (more bullshit) I would never allow my husband to deal w/ anyone besides myself. Polygamy is there to benefit the orphans and those women who have no family to take care of the social needs due to them not having had a mother and father or losing their husbands during war, death etc. It is not a perk as it comes with a lot of work to sustain and maintain multiple wives. Also it is also a blameworthy act if the male does not treat the women equally, so it can also have a bad effect on society just as bad as not marrying those women and them having to struggle on their own
