Believe it or not, that fence wasn't always up on the Canarsie-bound level. There used to be this stub from the wall that covers the 8th Ave.-bound level. I remember riding the L to The Junction as a young'n and being able to see right into that old-ass cemetery! It was fun. So, if you had some good climbing skills back in the day, you were probably in. Yeah...Wilson Ave. station is one of the more unique in the system. Probably THE most. It's looked exactly the same (well, almost) since 1928.

@BrooklynEagle Yea, from the pictures i have seen and the info i have read, it does look very similar to how it did in 1928. There are 2 big differences. The fence on the Canarsie bound side was not there until sometime in the 80s, and there were tiles on the wall instead of just paint until sometime in the 80s. It is a unique station.
