The more obvious mash/decontruction. Companion piece to "Analord vs. the Devil."

Vid dedicated to the reason that Van Halen used to be groovy. Ed & Alex played ahead of the beat, Mike held it back. Bass is a misunderstood and taken for granted skill, but the absence of that skill can be felt. As a general rule, guitar players, who have never had to hold down the fort and subdivide the beat, make poor bass players. (How many fast guitar solos actually fall somewhere specific in the bar?) Playing the part is not the same as creating the groove. Al & Ed both say they never had Mike in their mix, but the audience always had him in theirs, and Mike's feel was big.
deserves to be famous!

Pretty creative. My vote would have been to use "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love" as the backing track for the verse instead of "You Really Got Me". I think a version like that would make a favorite mash-up for many VH fans. I'd suggest you give it a shot. At any rate, thumbs up!
