Red Bull Crashed Ice Qualifier Ann Arbor, MI

I heard about the Red Bull Crashed Ice World Championships about a month ago. After some digging on the event and qualifiers, I got word about the Ann Arbor, MI qualifier 2 days before it was to go on. So I decided to drive the 425 miles (each way) and give it a shot. Being a 35 yr/old ex-goalie and way...way out of shape, I knew my chances would be so good, but after seeing the qualifiers in Germany, I figured it wasn't impossible either.

Keep trying man, you can do it next time! Age doesn't matter. If Chelios can still play at 48, you can qualify for Crashed Ice at 37 or 38. Now that you know basically how the qualifiers work, you can train for it yourself and be ready next time! Go for it!
