Violin is easily one the hardest instruments for someone to learn. Ignore the folks that are being dicks. I've been at it for a while and I can speak from experience, it's not easy at all... Especially for a guy with less than... girly fingers.

@ignatei umm how about you shut up? first of all, violins are SO much harder to play than guitars, i would know because i play both. He should be commended for choosing a difficult instrument, not ridiculed because it isn't 'manly' enough. secondly, instruments have nothing to do with masculinity or femininity; they are gender-neutral. Thirdly, saying 'that's gay' is offensive to people who actually are gay. so congrats. you've made an ass out of yourself in three ways with that one statement.
