  • What is the origin and destination for Q687? I've been out of the loop on the Muncie rails for a while, and that's a new one to me. 

  • @joninindiana : Well, its a St.Louis-Avon train, a month or so ago CSX decided to run it to Cincinnati via Sidney, and down the B&O that route, then killed that. Was told a derailment in Avon caused this train to run on the old routing again, thus why it was this was this morning. Not sure, but rumors are that it will come back west on the Q686, but not sure if it will lead or not.
