A brief comparison of rural and urban living based on my own experience.

I will continue to be loud as silence does not make change nor does silence offer a glimpse of the other side of the coin. Unfortunately when a person who has lived here in Newfoundland all their life attempts to convey their message it is often dismissed as biased. Being a person who has lived both urban and rural lifestyles I am neither biased or prejudiced.

This is how it is.

  • You might like Earthship living then earthship is pretty cool but I would like to say, city life doesn't mean you have to live a city life style.

  • @Huskyowner2007 Earthship living does sound pretty cool. I will disagree however that city life doesn't mean I have to live a city lifestyle. There is just no way to live rurally in the city. Thanks for watching!

  • Your views are not clouded at all. It is all to clear if humanity stays on the course we are going we will leave nothing for the young. Why do we have children if we are not willing to change?

  • @nycbike73 Thanks for your positive feedback. Self-education is so so important as well as stepping away from mainstream to view the bigger picture. Unfortunately for some the skyscrapers get in the way. Peace.

  • I agree with your decision to leave Urban life for Rural life. I spend a few months in NB and NL and enjoyed it very much.I would love to actually make the move as I very much enjoyed the way of life.Just FYI,I am not against rural communities living off of the land.I am against the commercial exploitation of our Oceans.I am for conservation.I want the best for the Eastern communities.I don't think that I'm your typical "Urban" person.I grew up in rural Ontario, so I have a unique perspective.

  • @foxshots Hunting/fishing/ect promotes conservation. The problem is not hunting or fishing it's the poaching, it's the overfishing. The seal hunt as it is right now is not a conservation concern.

  • Found your video really interesting, currently studying communications and culture and I'm doing a project on moving from a rural area to an urban area, and how it's affected my lifestyle and identity. I'm glad you found solace within yourself outside of the city, I miss the seaside and living a fresher kind of life, but I like the opportunities I have living in a city, it's a tough decision being a young adult and being forced to choose between the two,

  • The city environment is such an unnatural place.. no wonder so many people get ill from it. Also the source of all the decadence and corruption.

  • lol you helped my pass my exam lmmmao
