Brick (film trailer) - Modern film noir

One of my favorite films. The movie is a surrealistic high school film noir. Somehow I identified with the main character and his persistent way of dealing with things. Stupid people probably won't "get it".

So a movie like the Dark Knight is believable but this isn't? I somehow don't see you knocking that movie but it's premise isn't exactly non fiction. Movies don't have to be believable to be exceptional, this movie's dialogue alone makes it better than 90% of films that have been released since this came out. I think it's an extremely well acted, written, and directed movie that's extremely underrated. But maybe thats a good thing : /

Thanks, @shinjukugewalt. I loved all the visual jokes, too---Brain's Rubics cube, that ridiculously 60's basement den, the Pin's mother's rooster OJ jug. Even Brandon Frye's old shoes were a kick. They were old-fashioned gumshoes. Get it?
