  • Why born agains dont have there own events?

Big splash held praise the wave. Christian youth night last week. The park was closed to the public and with over 3500 "Christians" in attendance. When the rock bands took the stage the crowd broke out in fighting and rioting. Over 100 were hospitalized and park destroyed and shut down for the year. It took police from 3 different counties to control the crowd finally around 1 am the violence stopped. is this what Christianity has reduced itself to?

  • Yeah. They're acting like a bunch of Muslims.

  • I wonder if Mr. Pursifull thinks taking non-prescribed Lortabs is a sin.

  • Do you know something I don't?

  • You are also not a Christian if you are going around and attacking other churches and judging other people's faith. It says it the Holy Bible that thou shall not judge. That is precisely what you are doing. You need to repent.

  • @majinish lol. the different versions of the bible are just either more simple or more complicated english thats all. i for example read the king james bible but since its a little confusing i read th NASB but that one is also complicated. if you look them up and compare many bibles, they have different words but the same meaning. there are some bibles that have been redone which is why we have to be careful when we get them:)

  • @DBiskit The muslims do say they are commanded to terrorise others to believe so I agree completly the "Christians" in this are acting just like some Muslims...

  • Mormons preach another gospel. Their religion damn men to a eternity in the lake of fire. Sorry Mormon in love I have to tell you your religion is false. Just like Roman Catholicism which I came out of.

  • @gatecrashrcanada No it's not talking about the earth. It's referring to the gospel. Matthew 16:17 explains Matthew 16:18. Yes, the rock, which is the "it" at the end of the verse, is revelation from God. The Bible speaks of the restoration of the gospel over and over.

@"you must confess this" I don't confess something someone tells me to. I bear testimony that Jesus is the Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Jesus Christ's church. The Bible and Book of Mormon are true.

  • @gatecrashrcanada The Bible and Book of Mormon are the word of God. I already explained what Matthew 16:18 means. The Bible is clear on speaking about the restoration of the gospel.

  • 2 Thess. 2 is talking about the end times and how people will run from the Truth, God's Word. and it is talking about the lawless one, who is the Devil. Daniel 12:1-4, is a prophecy about this as well. you could say the apostacy is happening by what we see in society of people turning away from God but God's will will not fail, Matt. 16:18. that is why Jesus is coming back to restore the earth. that is the restoration the the Bible is talking about.

  • @majinish the restoration mentioned in Acts 3:20-21 is talking about when Jesus comes back again and all the sin and sinners in the world will go to hell and all those who have accepted Him will be saved. then there will be a new heaven and a new earth once and for all.Matthew 13:40-4; Revelation 21:1-4. Matt. 16:18 is not a revelation but Jesus himself who is God who is speaking it to Peter. therefore there is no need for a restoration of the "gospel". you must confess this --> Romans 10:9

  • @majinish The Bible and Book of Mormon are the word of God. However, people have changed so much in the Bible. The only thing done to the Book of Mormon was corrections being made like grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
