Kaum ein Offizier hat je in der US-Navy derart schnell Karriere gemacht wie Alex Hopper (Taylor Kitsch). Aber dann begeht er einen Fehler, der ihn die Laufbahn kosten könnte: Er verliebt sich ausgerechnet in Sam (Brooklyn Decker), die Tochter seines Admirals (Liam Neeson). Ein Problem, bei dem ihm auch sein älterer Bruder Stone (Alexander Skarsgård), Kommandeur der USS Samson, nicht helfen kann. Alex bleibt allerdings wenig Zeit, über sein Schicksal nachzugrübeln, denn bei einem internationalen Seemanöver im Pazifik gerät seine Einheit in eine Situation, auf die sie auch die beste Militärschule nicht vorbereiten konnte: Mitten auf dem Ozean wird die Flotte von den gigantischen Kampfmaschinen einer außerirdischen Macht angegriffen.

    Aber sonst gehts noch?!? Ich bin Kommunist und mir gefällt der film auch, Kommunist sein heißt doch nicht das wir den Westen verabscheuen!!! Ich schaue eigentlich nur Ami-serien und filme!!

    Normaler weiße Informiert man sich bevor man sinnloses Zeug Kommentiert!! Außer man wählt FDP und weiß nicht einmal was das es bedeutet!!! Informiere dich erst mal bevor du so über Menschen urteilst denen es nur wichtig ist das alle Menschen gleich behandelt werden!!!
