Charley says...

Those that know me may remember I have an ongoing problem with other people's cats using my garden as a feline latrine, so I made this cartoon...

My inspiration was the "Charley says..." series of public information films from the 1970's. As a boy I thought Charley the Cat was fantastic, and could easily overlook the jerky animation thanks to his talkative miaowing. My spoof only took a day to create, so I make no apologies for it being rough!

For anyone who's interested, the original films were created by Richard Taylor Cartoons, with Charley the cat 'voiced' by the late (and great) Kenny Everett. You can view all six of the original Public Information Films at:
