After leaving Mott The Hoople, Verden signed a solo deal with Polydor Records through Hedley Leyton, brother to John Leyton. Teamed with a singer named Mooni, they released one single under than name. Both songs were written by Verden Allen. (Exactly who Mooni is has never been established.)
Has a nice little hook to the melody, tho' it seems Verden's voice (IMO) gets lost in the mix. With some refinement to the final mix, could've been a (again IMO) decent single, or at least a good cut on the original 'Mott' album instead of the bonus cut added on the remastered version.
@tonyfoth is this an unedit song from the "dudes" LP? without considering the lyrics (can't translate listening withput reading), this song has his "high point" to the organ/guitar solo's sides. Voice seems to limit the melody job. It's a nice song, but if this is not included into the LP there's a reason. Smile. Thank for uploading this song :-)
Where are all the positive comments from you tubes legion of mott fans? I discovered this posting by accident and gotta say it is a brilliant piece of music by britains most underrated rock band.

This tune was the flip side.

Where did this come from? I consider myself a fanatical Hoople fan, but I've never heard this before.
