Hi dave you should set your Tivo to 720p instead of 1080i due to the fact that 720p is better then 1080i that is what I usually do if the device i am trying to connect is not or does not suppoet 1080p
Does it have built in wifi as it has Ethernet on the back?? Also what would you use the Ethernet for? Watching movies like the Sky Box Office service??

Like Sky, Virgin's HD channels are in 1080i not 1080p. Hope this helps.
It's a nice UI, shame Virgin's standard UI is so awful.
