there only big because they are getting more powerful and they produce more heat therefore they need a better cooling system, which is the real reason these new cards are HUGE!

I have custom pc and my specs are intel i7 975 4.4Ghz, 16GB ram, 2TB HDD,3 ATI Radeon 5970 ,1500watt PS,Windows 7 Ultimate,Liquid Cooling,24inch Flat screen w/1080p hooked up,SLI MOTHER BOARD SUPPORTS QUAD VIDEOCARDS (GPU: 8GB) I DON'T HAVE A CROSSFIRE MOTHERBOARD, SLI IS BETTER

Running 16 g of ram with an i7 considering its triple channel so it will be sets of 3 so 15 would be believable but not 16, u use sli with ati cards because its better? lmao idiot.
and as the others have said you cant run 3 5970 especially on a board thats sli, which nvidia only.
