  • My hubby loves the new accessory for hard hats everyone shoud have one to ists called Safe-Mate. it stops it from ever falling of without a chin strap.

  • Just dont forget everything union's have done for your working conditions and how hard union brothers fought to better them. Remember that greed is a nasty thing and corprate america will take it all back the second you let them. We need unions they are America, do yourself a favor and organize.

  • majority r... i had to completely demo out a whole building and redo the duct runs... because these scabs undersized everything... butchered their duct... and everything leaked like crazy... nah we get put through 5 years of school, theres no way our brothers can be unskilled... our brothers dont sit on the bench forever... most ull way on the outta work list is a couple weeks... and ur union rep finds u a job... live better, work union... believe me man, ull make twice as much money

  • non-onion wokers are not the most unskilled workers around. Yes there are some just like there are slow people in school but its just biased to say everyone is. There are plenty of unskilled union workers too. Just the Union is aloud to make them sit the bench forever. But I have seen some butched up pipe come out of union work.

  • non-union scab workers r the most unskilled workers around... they have no idea what theyre doing... they dont have the proper training... u should really go union... i worked as a scab before... but went union... best decision of my life... u live better... and make more money than those bullshit non-union scab wages

  • Taking pride in your work is something you do since you are born it doesn't just happen when you get paid more.

  • For all the guys that are saying union this and union that, I just wanna say that yes unions are good but they can also be really bad. Take a look at GM, unions destroyed a once great car company. Sometimes they can over glorify a very simple job. I'm not knockin any trade, im a non-union industrial electrician just out of philly, i'm just sayin that people should stop lookin at it as Union and Non-Union and just employed people tryin to make money.

  • It's nice to see a cable tv show covering UNION construction trades... We're paid right cause we do it right! It'd be nice to see an episode covering Structural Ironworkers.

  • well this midrise really isnt that spectacular...but they are other buildings that are under construction in LA that are way more impressive. Im not sure why they would pick this one...maybe its just good PR.

  • I'm pro union for the trades, but I just can't get into L.A style construction. It just seem to laid back to the NYC scene with nothing but skyscrapers and noise around you..
