We talked yesterday about the importance of having mobile and strong hips. Today we will focus on mobilizing the mid-back (thoracic spine) and strengthening the shoulder. The mid-back can easily become stiff with our traditional activities of daily living. The two exercise Nicole demonstrates today will help you gain some mid-back mobility while warming up and providing strength and stability through the scapular stabilizers, spinal extensors, and some of the rotator cuff.
