A registered Republican, Guthrie endorsed Texas Congressman Ron Paul for the 2008 Republican Party nomination. We all know Ron Paul is a strong fighter for the Tea Party movement, a conservative movement and the most noted national figures include Republican politicians such as Rand Paul and Sarah Palin, So far for a socialist protest singer singing about bringing in a couple of ki's (kilo's marihuana) ah well, ppl change, but plz don't idealise this man.
