Nurien Tech Demo (Alpha) v0.7 has been prepared to provide a sneak
peek into a social networking application that is poised to transform
the way people socialize and interact in a virtual world. By offering
rich 3D graphics and behavior & movements that are truly lifelike,
Nurien will allow users to express themselves, virtually, like never
before.

To that end, the Nurien Tech Demo also serves as a physics performance
test. Nurien makes extensive use of NVIDIA's PhysX technology, with
physics being processed both on the CPU and graphics processing unit
(GPU), allowing users with GeForce 8800 GT, 9600 GT and better graphics
processing units (GPUs) in particular to experience Nurien the way the
creators intended. Those without such hardware can still catch a
glimpse of what Nurien with advanced physics has to offer, but at a
lower performance level.

All the video cards are capable to do physics. the think is on the drivers video cards are more powerful than the CPU, the driver tells the computer to put the physics load on the video card.

NVIDIA buy AGIA so nvidia cards are the only one legally to use the driver for physics, NVIDA driver also restricts the CPU to one core as the CPU are getting more powerful Avery day. In this demo I get 18 fps average

but when I play CELL FACTOR from AGIA, I get around 45 fps with AMD 6950 and 1090T

I run this on a 9800gtx with an 8800gt doing the phys-x stuff. My average framerate is around 88.
