im a complete noob to the MGS series, and i keep forgetting this, but how do you get your enimies weapns?

In MGS4 they just drop to the ground when you kill/stun the enemy. In the earlier games (MGS 1-3) you need to find the weapons, just like other items, except that the weapons are usually better hidden.

@Turmio1 You missed the easter egg when you knock on the picture and it turns into alert.

04:54 Knock on lower halve on the Konami girl poster, a red "!" will appear above snake's hand, and if there is enemy personnel in the area, the game will immediately go into alert mode.

P.S. If you want to live, make sure that the attack team comes looking for you are distracted by the pretty poster.

PS2 version is much better than PC's graphically, the controls and everything, even when it's emulated...

You missed out the best part. Go into the locker, and perv on the hot asian lady photo while talking to Otacon on the Codec. Snake will be doing something very disturbing with heavy breathing. Otacon will tell him off for jacking off while on a mission.
