Let's say you were about to speak before a primarily Vietnamese audience, like at a festival, concert, or meeting, and your Vietnamese skills are not yet up to par, you would say this phrase to pardon any mistakes you may make. You can also use this phrase if you will be only speaking English but you want to address the Vietnamese audience first out of respect.

Dạ thưa, tôi nói tiếng Việt không giỏi, xin quí vị bỏ qua cho.
Dear audience, I don't speak Vietnamese well, please pardon me.

  • Would you mind making a video to teach basic medical terminology? Thanks.

  • @thantieulong South isn't better or worse, North is still the one who got the most ''right'' dialect. Besides, North got sharper way to pronounce but South vietnamese are being considered as lazy people in the north. in fact people in the north says south people are saying they don't care about the way of speaking or writing as in grammar. Because they always make it soft, instead of gi which pronounce ''z''-like. The easiest shortcut is south though.

  • @[All]: I'm half vietnamese. For me , South Vietnamese is easier to say , and easier to understand :) But , Because our capital city is in Hanoi - North , so our Original Language is North Vietnamese . But in fact , South Vietnamese is better :)) in North Vietnamese , People speak "gi" instead of "r" For example : Giun instead of run =)) (Run = Tremble)
