Love this song!
Reminds me of the ice storm in 1998 here in kingston.

@Julianhache It say the "Prisonaires'

@dentrems That's very cool to know. I think they have more than enough talent to be known worldwide. It just seems like the Americans I talk to have never heard of them, except through one song. I guess I need to meet more people :)

They actually tour all over the US... I'm a Canuck that's been living in the US for about 10 yrs, and i have seen them play at little clubs all across the southeast. The last time they graced us with their presence, a local Canadian club had a gathering at a local pub, and the bar erupted spontaneously into the national anthem! Fantastic stuff... anyways, they tour the US lots, and a lot of people make the trek for the more intimate venue.

I love Phantom Power

The Hip tour in the US, but I think it's mostly along the borger. They have a huge following in MI, NY, WI, etc. It's true and it is a shame that they aren't more known in the US. The funniest thing was that when Hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans, some people in the States almost lost their minds when they heard about the song 'New Orleans is Sinking', thinking a Candian band was making fun of the situation, yet Katrina hit in 2005, and the song was released in 1989.
