Props to the speaker who´s trying to uphold some sort of dignity and legitimacy of Israeli democracy. I wish the best for Israel but the jews are digging their own grave with this politic I´m sad to say. Both sides in this conflict have economic interests from this constant state of "war" but the real power is in the hands of Israel and America. Palestinians could have a state but the Israelis are not convinced they would have security if that day comes.

Being soft-spoken or rowdy in parliament is quite irrelevant. Her demeanor can be just a carefully nurtured and politically convenient part of her parliamentary. Even soft spoken words can be extremely offensive and painful. So, different styles are allowed to co-exist in the Knesset. And thus I think that the Israeli parliament is one of the most democratic in the world. But let's not digress, for, more essentially, it is the only democratic parliament in the M-E.

@hgintern btw although Israel does a lot to look LIKE a democracy it doesnt mean it is one. to import jews from abroad while expatriating non-jew citizans to create majorities and minorities fools the democratic principle.

I am clearly not getting through to you, for which I am truly sorry. By the way this is a parliament. Parliaments in a democracy are not about punishment. If you don't behave, you are not allowed to attend. Mind you, this conceivably is just about the most serious penalty possible, since the core business of a parliamentarian is public participation in the parliamentary discussion. In that sense being left out in the cold is fatal for a political career.

@hgintern apparantly you dont read either. I said in a normal parliament the interruptors would have been punished which means more than telling sb to get out to get a coffee, but to eject them for a wider period of time especially when they interrupt in such an offensive and aggressive manner. zoabi is speaking in a soft voice, her matter is fully legitimate and obviously you know that because there would be no need to panic and interrupt in such a way if she was clearly and undoubtedly wrong.
we will once you get out of our homeland Palestine ZIONISTS
