Kaleidophonix is a three piece band from Memphis made up of Matt White, Jordon Rogers, and Jack McGehee. When it comes to describing their sound and band, their Facebook reads, "Take the purest extract of human imagination, mix it with rocket fuel and ignite it in the face of our own ego. Now, humbled and burned, submerge yourself in a prehistoric milkshake of love, in a pansophy of creation, in what shall be: Kaleidophonix."

Their front man Matt started playing casio keyboard and making beats at the age of 12. They find "Waking up to enjoy the freedom and creativity that lies in creating music" to be one of the most rewarding parts of being a musician. The second would be revealing that art to others. When watching them perform the first thing you're going to notice is the band wearing giant cartoon masks, which they do to make their music greater than themselves. As of late K-phoniX has been opening for Memphis local band Lord T & Eloise, and if you visit the Mid South Fair you'll be seeing this band perform. Their next show, which they're calling "The Temple of Neon", will be at Newby's on September 10th.
