@JLPIMPIN1992 152MPH was top speed in 4'th gear in a stock 96-98 Cobra. If you shift to 5'th, it will slow down to 135-140 because overdrive (5'th) is too big of a gear drop. This is one rare situation where changing the factory 3.27:1 rear diff to something like a 4.10:1 could actually make the car quicker and faster since it could allow the car to top out in 5'th gear instead of 4'th, because of the higher RPM's - like the car in the video.

Shit that thing kept accelerating hard as shit even at that speed. My '99 GT got up to 130 pretty quickly, but nothing like that lol. Unfortunately it wouldn't really go above that cause I guess because it was an automatic and the limiter kept it from doin so.

its not the same 5.0 its a stroker version of the modular engine like the 4.6

bitch is fast. i didn't think they could move that quick at speeds like that without the 03/04 supercharger lol.

This car probably has a 305hp+ Aluminum 4.6L 32V DOHC V8 but its a little different that the 03/04 Iron block that runs less compression and a eaton supercharger for a total of 390hp.
The Aluminum 32v was used 1996-1998 and w/ small changes and a little more power was used in 1999 and 2001.
The 4v's have little to do with the SOHC 4.6L 2v's of the GT cars used in 1996-98 and in 1999-2004 with 45-50hp more.

The last year of the 5.0L in the mustang was 1995. The last year of the more potent 5.0 was in 1992 before Ford switched to a cheaper and weaker piston for 1993-1995. A a result the had to run less compression and made 10-15 less hp.
03 SVT Cobra would kick ur Vetts ass.
sorry
