a .38 Snub nose, a .38 Special, or a .357 Magnum?!? because all 3 of those guns fire .38's, the only difference between a .38 & a .357 Magnum is the Length of the round...the .357 Magnum's round is longer so it can accommodate more gun powder & therefore makes for a more powerful shot...& there's also .38+P.

At this, Sleazy goes crazy and pulls out a .38 snub nose and chases John all the way down to Monroe street. I never saw John at the Western Arcade ever again. Too bad, cause John was a pretty funny guy, and very generous. Many times he would give me girls when they were too numerous for him to handle. Those were great days!!!

JOhn was calling him out, so sleazy closes the booth up and comes charging out to fight with Holmes. Holmes ran off a bit, maybe ten yards down the sidewalk and said, "Come out here punk, I dont want to beat you up in front of the arcade and get arrested" , So Sleazy goes after Holmes and John runs further down the street. They spent about 10 minutes exchanging insults, then finally John says,"Hey,maybe she's with me bacuse I can give her this",and proceeds to make a thrusting motion with pelvis

The one thing I remember about John was that he liked gilrs. Real young girls. Like 13-17. The guy who was behind the tokens window, you know, they guy that took your money and made change at the arcade was a real sleazy skinny guy, about 40, who most times was John Holmes friend. But one night, they had a huge fight over a 14 year old girl. She has been the skinny guys girlfirend and John took her away. Sleazy kicked John out of the arcade and John stayed on the sidewalk taunting him.

Anyhow, John Holmes had a friend, Robert, this Chicano rocker guy who was a KISS impersonator, and those two would pick up chicks all the time. I mean, the girls and ladies would just come right up when they playing pinball or Galaxaga or Space Invaders...

I remember before and after attending LACC, I used to be the king of the table hockey machine, the Super Chexx Dome game in the back of the Western Arcade. Actually, we used to hop on the bus and head out there anyway when we were kids (1974-77) and when I got my first car, a 69 Cougar (1980s) we used to hang out there. I remember alot of rockers from that era used to hang out there, as well as John Holmes. John used to play on the video games and pinball machines.
