Little Big Planet- Qur'an Song *In Game Footage*

I got an early copy of Little Big Planet, below is the info regarding the games' delay due to passages of the Qur'an being recited in the song found in this clip.

The passages include:

1- In the 18th second: "كل نفس ذائقة الموت" ("kollo nafsin tha'iqatol mawt", literally: 'Every soul shall have the taste of death').

2- Almost immediately after, in the 27th second: "كل من عليها فان" ("kollo man alaiha fan", literally: 'All that is on earth will perish').

Its a shame this is is getting delayed, the game is amazing, and the song is really cool.

The song is called "Tapha Niang" from the 2006 album Boulevard de l'Independance by Grammy award-winning Malian kora player Toumani Diabaté.

The release of the game was pushed back after SCEE instigated a worldwide recall of LittleBigPlanet[40] after it was discovered by a PlayStation Community member that part of a song in the game included passages from the Qur'an and could be offensive to Muslims.[41] Sony caved to the whims of a small group of religious fanatics, due to being afraid of being bombed, and announced that new versions of the game will be shipped to North America retailers for release on October 27, 2008;[42] dates for other regions have not yet been announced.

They could have used far better songs for this game then rely on some Somalie dude who used some stupid Arabic crap that mutters Islam shit in the music.
