Billionaires Bill Gates and Warren Buffett agree with a majority of Americans who want to raise taxes on the rich. The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.
@niceguy60 Also the wealthy guy talked about how he rather give his money to charity because he doesn't like his taxes supporting government programs he doesn't beleive in and wars.
@niceguy60 it's a loaded survey..i mean if taxes *have* to be raised people would rather someone else pay it and it's easy to say "well they make a lot of money they can spare it" most people classified as "rich" aren't in the same catergory as Buffet or Gates. The BBC did a show about taxes and they interviewed a multi-millionare and he said that b/c of high taxes he had to put his manufacturing in China and he talked about how his other wealthy friends left the country b/c of taxes
@ubermisogynist They will ship jobs oversea vigorously regardless of if you tax them or not. You think GE and Apple are going to lose even the slightest in profits just to give you a job. You can drop their tax rate to zero & then it would turn into a argument about them not getting a big enough refund while still shipping jobs off shore. At least when you tax these greedy fuckers you can get something back from them because they are not voluntarily contributing to the economy..
@JamanWerSonst Germany is probably one of the most, if not the most sensible country on this planet ;)

In Germany we have taxrates at about 50% for the rich.
Doesnt kill investments or job creation at all.

Tax everyone the same percent, preferably 20%.

lol I've heard of a lot of rich people saying fine...go ahead and tax the rich. I don't mind paying more. How many people need to say that?
