Sasha - Mongoose (JM Edit)

This was my submission for Beatport's Remix Sasha for emFire Remix Competition. The track is called Mongoose. I used Ableton Live 6 to rework the original parts that were supplied in the download. I didn't add anything, so it's more a re-edit than a remix.

Most of the tracks have volume automation, and a little FX automation like the autofilter freq, and the feedback on the delays. I hid the automation though so you can see the arrangement better. The sweeping sound you can hear on the main lead is a sine wave LFO on the autofilter frequency. I processed the original kick by creating two duplicate kick tracks each with a Bittersweet compressor, with one cranked all the way to "Bitter" (read: tight), the other cranked all the way to "Sweet" (read: fat), and then mixed the ratio of the two in the mixer.

the begining before the pause needs a little work but everything else flowed nicely.
