Mastodon - The Wolf Is Loose Cover (Second Version)

This is me doing another take on Mastodon's track "The Wolf Is Loose" off their album Blood Mountain.

I did my first take of this song when I had only five months of experience on the guitar - so my form was not good at all. But hopefully, after almost three years of experience on the guitar, my form has improved.

I'm playing this on a Jackson RR-24 guitar out of my VOX AD30VT-XL amp. I'm really satisfied with the tone.

As for more Mastodon songs, I'm planning on covering Blood And Thunder and maybe Hearts Alive off Leviathan. From Blood Mountain, I might do Circle Of Cysquatch and Colony Of Birchmen. From Crack The Skye, I might do Divinations and The Last Baron. So look for those in the future.

dude wheres the fuckin passion!! Damn active pickups doing all the work. No offense man its not a bad cover but you lack pronounciation, those flats give you such a killer tone you dont even need to put in effort and that, is stupid.

Good guitar playing, if a bit lifeless on the strumming parts. Go nuts on the strumming and it would fit better with the mood of the song

@lukyganesh Truth be told I play the bass and only really muck around with guitars - nothing serious. Although tone / look wise ... I'm a big fan of vintage gibsons les pauls ala Bill Kelliher.
