  • I love this song... i wish the quality was better

  • First, I was not taking issue with any of your statements or views. Mine was a reply to Ravi with regards to my uncle being a racist, when a man doh ha notten tuh say he mus hush!! Secondly, my comment was not to say I am an aficionado of calypso but can't deny that what I said is a fact. Lets face it when the slaves first started this artform it was entertaining whereby being a stress reliever. They vented their frustration through the music same as today.

  • Sundar Popo is my cousin and from what you are saying, I can tell you are disillusioned...I agree that we are descendants of Africa, India, Europe, China, Amerindians etc. which makes T&T as wonderful as it is. For being Lord Kitchener's grand nephew, I am shocked that you don't understand the power of Kaiso and how it has been biased and leaving the powers that be to do what they want.

  • ok...u have a right to say what u are saying then. My aunt & him were friends a long time ago and that is how I get my take on him.

  • Please enlighten me about Kaiso & Trinidad and prove what I am saying is incorrect. I have lived in Trinidad, and eventhough I am away, my ear is still to d groud - I speak from first hand knowledge. If you can point out exactly how I am ill- or mis-informed and back it up with facts (not hearsay) , I will retract my statements.

  • And your right...chutney is shitty and monotonous ..these days. Not like it used to be...but then again, don't get me started up on that either.

  • Desi...to answer your question, mmm, No i have not met crocro, but I did stand about 3-4 feet away from him at a show, and heard some of his remarks, OFF stage.... Hence why I feel the way I do. And to

junior2404, Who the hell are you to ask what I know about Kaiso or Trinidad? Cause your Kitchi family...like you have a degree in Kaiso and Trinidadianism? Anyways, im not going to even start on this topic cause Im gona need a whole page and a day to type what I really want to say.

  • I am the grand nephew of the Grand Master, and from your statement I can tell you haven't a clue of what your saying. Ours is a truly multicultural family. We are descendants of Africa, India, Europe, China, Amerindians and lawd knows what else. Don't speak if you don't have first hand knowledge. These guys are entertainers 1st and foremost, what ever the political 'virus' is at the time that will be the content of their lyrics. What do you really know about Kaiso or Trinidad?

  • If you dont understand his songs then you cannot say anything.

    because he speaks the truth.

and he is not racist at all!

If u are not in trinidad and know what is going on then u will think he is neggitave but he is not.

as trini said name one line that u think i racist from him..?
