I became a Democrat in 2006 out of disgust for the Republicans' irresponsible spending. I had been a Libertarian or a Republican most of my life up until then. When I became a Democrat - even though I disagreed with them on the War more than I disagreed with the Republicans -- I believed that they finally *got it* about the the danger of overtaxing and overspending this nation into unrepayable debt. But, it was all a trick -the bastards were biding their time until they assumed total power.
