Mega Man X: Perfect Run - Spark Mandrill

The running spark currents will trip you up combined with focusing on whatever enemy is in back of it. Theres a Sub Tank and a Heart Tank in this stage but only one is accessible at the moment, and that is the Heart Tank. You can get the Heart Tank by slide skipping off the wall correctly or you can wait to get the Boomerang obtained by a later boss to get it. Whichever one is best for you. Be aware of the Hotarions, the shining gliders in the dark part of the stage.

If you dont confront Spark Mandrill with the S. Ice, youll have problems. Hes unpredictable and will hit pretty hard. Just keep freezing him and youll be perfectly fine.

Ah, I see. If you're not an advent wall skipper, using the Boomerang would be the best option. You should try creating enough space between you and the Heart Tank before shooting the boomerang so it'll catch properly.

I got the heart, it took me like 3 mins, you need to to kinda hold jump and slide at the same time when you jump off and the jump farther. Really cramped my hand up though.

You know, if you beat Storm Eagle first, the sparks in the first part of the stage aren't there AND the mid-boss can't create the little lightning bolts (though he'll still try). As for not having his weakness, Storm Eagle is almost as easy as Chill Penguin once you get his pattern down. (For reference, beating Chill Penguin cools Flame Mammoth's stage, and Launch Octopus floods Sting Chameleon's.)
