  • I'm 13 I'll tell you what the world is like people smoking crack, porn freaks everywhere, gay lovers, music killers, people trying to beat the crap out of each other, and of course that's only the easy part I don't want to scare you anymore now

  • I can answer the question asked by this song: It will be full of Arab terrorist's that wish to blow up innocent women & children; yeah right, "religion of peace"...

  • With the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks approaching, for some reason this is the song the keeps playing in my head. I worry so much more about all the children in the whole world.

  • I have 3 sons under the age of 10yo and I do worry (a lot) about what life has in store for them.

Will they be able to cope?

I dont want them to be hurt by the worry and pressure of this world we are leaving to them.......

  • Tremendous-

I'm so glad I got to hear a new tune from Don (new to me), wonderful piece:)

  • I love the meaning of this song....Thanks, DON MCLEAN!

  • Take comfort in the solid fact they might be even better than you!

  • a very good song, sad but beautiful.

  • Children are the hope of joy in this world, and must be cherished. I am so proud of the people my six children have become!

  • And although this song is my favorite off the "Love Tracks" album, I also really like his songs "Dust for Blood" and "Blues Train" alot, too. Both great songs!
