Didn't get the ending. Can anybody tell me what happened at the ending?

The game's story is that some rich guy has paid you to recover some artifact, once he gets it it apparently kills him...ala Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Oh, now I understand. The rich guy as Belloq. He is absorbed by a fiery whirlwind and he dies after a screaming of agony. Am I correct like that?

For the most part. I don't quite understand it myself, but that's how they tell it. It's really just there to provide a reason as to why you're tearing up the town...much like the hilarious story behind RunAbout: SF Edition(11-79 is the first RunAbout game, renamed).
