Wow, had to watch that one twice. I think driver just panicked. Lucky escape for both of you. Ignore the bike haters, in a couple of years we'll all be on 2 wheels.

Why stop to argue? This just privokes a situation that does not exist. OK, the driver did not see you till the last moment, BUT HE STOPPED and saved your arrogant arse from road rash. Chill out, the roads do not belong to the lycra clad morons on push bikes. You are only alive today because of the skill and training drivers have been tested for. Personally I think all cyclists should receive serious psyciatric help and counciling.

why did he swing late onto your tyre? This person should not have a license.

look at the driver would we expect any better

Why does everyone record their daily bike ride?

@bbborp be proud that you can call yourself a proper cyclist. honest mistake on the driver's part, i heard "sorry" alot (cant tell whether it was from you or him), a polite asking for the tyre to be backed off your bike, no damage done, carry on.
if only the screaming, self-centred and entitled minority could be converted into you.

@zxcv1234vcxz When you pay regestration and insurance and do the speed limit and then you can have the same rights as cars!!!!! DUMB ASS

It's pretty scary when a car does this, I'd have braked too. It's a shame that a lot of people see cycles as inferior and try to run them off the road. A real shame.

why didnt you break before he turned? cylcists dont tend to be given the right of way as an unwritten car rule, your fault mate!!

@frthdo I brake from 25mph to a halt and I'm then hit, while stationary, by a driver driving in the opposite direction on the wrong side of the road and it's my fault? I was braking as he turned right and then as he turned left and I was stopped by the time he turned right again into my rear wheel.

@undrugged As I mentioned in the description, my rear wheel was pinned down by the car's tyre. I asked the driver to reverse off my wheel, told him that there appeared to be no damage. I checked that the road was clear and then cycled off.
