Even the stores claiming to make good use of the food they'd throw out waste a lot of it. They typically only donate bread products.

this is crazy! It may be good that some clean food is being recycled, but I hope these "freegans" don't completely rely on this. This is more akin to freeloading than anti-capitalism in my opinion. >.>

Leave it for the homeless, they need it more than the capable educated ones.

do as you wilt.. but i just dont buy into this live green thing.. most people that say they want to live green wouldnt survive without the rest of the people doing what they do. if you want to be green be a farmer and even they need tractore and all kinds of manufacture good. tools etc. beside good has set up a time limit on this stinky planet and both lucifirians and their leader the devil know their time is short. so do cristaians should know time on earth is limited.(we are in the last days)

But think about it- if you bought something, and it went past it's sell-by date but wasn't mouldy, smelly or gone off, would you chuck it? I know i wouldn't. Plus loads of freegans give food to the homeless, or run Food Not Bombs kitchens for the underprivalaged. It's more than people being stingy.

its so much more then just a boycot of food waste, our entire society is corrupt to the core, its caused directly by the monitary system. far to much to explain in a 500 word you tube responce. these people just see the truth and want to make a diffrence, hopefuly one day the rest of humanity will catch up and the need to eat out of dumpsters while living this life style will be obsolete. these people are pioneers.
it is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.
