I have only just found this out via Cinefix videos. How did I not see this before!! Absolutely amazing. Also, is there a place we can get info on how the feature version is getting along?

There's not a sci-fi writer into robotics that hasn't fiddled with the idea of AI with consciousness, but it's original in the fact that RL7 is a seasoned combat veteran. Yes, Robocop was a cyborg, and he had memories of his family, but he's a different "application." These combat droids are supposed to be devoid of memories of their own, and mindlessly follow orders.
