Policenauts directed by Hideo Kojima is Science Fiction video game. I think Snatcher is good, Policenauts is great.

INTRODUCTION

In the year 2010,Mankind made its first great advance into space with the completion of the first human space colony "Beyond Coast".

Three years later. 5 policemen,charged with the responsibility of maintaining the security of these colonists,arrive on the "Beyond Coast".

Gatse Becker,Joseph Sadaoki Toku-gawa,Salvatore Toscanini,Ed Brown,and Jonathan Ingram.

These 5 policemen,the Earth's elite,formed a new force of Space Police known as "POLICENAUTS"

One day,Jonathan Ingram,originally from the L.A.P.D,mysteriously disappeared after an accident during space-walking experiments. 25 years later,he was miraculously discovered alive and he was returned to Earth.

After returning to Earth,he starts a private Investigation Agency and is visited by his estranged wife Lorraine Hojyo. Her new husband,Kenzo,is involved in a serious incident,she says.

The remaining clues are a torn leaf,a medicine capsule,and the enigmatic name "Pluto". The answer to this mystery lies on the "Beyond Coast". Now he must get together with his companions from 30 years ago.....

Now he has seen his ex-wife,Lorraine,murdered,as well as the secret drug sales. The clues are becoming more clear,but he must return again to the "Beyond Coast".

This video,screen of PC9821 verision had be made use of, was released to people at Tokyo Toy Show in 1994. After saled Policenauts pilot disc with 3DO included this video.

It's me or this PC98 game has different screens (and perhaps, more detailed) than the official PS2 one?

Both Kojima and Konami have made it blatantly obvious that will never happen! The fan translation is all the English fans are going to get, as far as an English version is concerned.

Errr... It came out 13 years ago, in 1994. It came out only in Japan but maybe Kojima makes a re-make of it after he finish MGS4 cause it was a great game and it's a pity that it never had an english version....
