I think Jack never accepted very well that he fell in love with Elizabeth. I mean,it's obvious that he fell for her. He loves freedom and his love for Elizabeth just made him lost (compass not working) and compromised his whole life of being a captain and pirate. He saw love as some sort of a prison,he wouldn't be free to do what he wanted without a care. That is why I think he didn't go after her and tried to steal her from Will. He thought that Will would be the best choice for her.

@dancinggoddessofbloo Yes it was! Really! She could never be a family with will lol. She is stupid in one way. I think that Sparrabeth should be, not Willabeth... Jack should be the captain on the hollender, cuz when will bacme one, he was like 40% hotter. But still, if Jack would be the captain, one question is around me. Would Jack then be the reason for universe warming?Because he is then reason of global warming. The main one. Then i think he would be the main reason for universe warming!!
