  • What is it with the 'digital camo'?

Is there that much camo in nature that is square and rectangle based?

I can't think of that much until you add in human areas.

What is the draw to that style of camo?

  • @breakneck14 look up ACU Camouflage, digital camo has been shown to be more effective due to the way the eye processes images, atleast thats what i remember it saying, but yeah, google it.

  • @breakneck14 . Its not always about matching the surrounding. Its all about breaking up the shape of yourself and your gun. A random "digital camo" can do that very well in most cases.

  • @breakneck14 From a distace digital looks just like a blend of colors with shadows.

  • Wow Ive been doing this since I was like 13. (Pats self on back)

  • @breakneck14 it is designed to make focusing on the object dificaly. from a distance the pixels will look like distorted lined. its one of those stupid optical ellusion trics. and i was with you untill i serched abit. and thatgs what i found.

  • @breakneck14 it works better. how often will you find black splotches in the wild? digi is smaller and makes it easier to blend in. watch r lee ermey demonstrate marpat on mailcall

  • For as young as this kid is I think he has done the best camo job I have seen on YouTube! It can be adapted to any terrain, and with any colors desired! Very well done!

  • @shiftystylin Not exactly..not even close. The design is based on extensive testing of detection and recognition times. MARPAT is perhaps the most effective single design so far, whereas the newer ARPAT (3 color scheme with black removed) is supposed to be "multi environment" but under performs in all of them. SOPAT III is by far the most complete and effective camo, but it is expensive logistically.

Digital is even a misnomer, it's an arrangement of colored squares based on a function.

  • @OhNoNotAGinger it kinda looked like a retarded version of Wilson from the movie Cast Away lol

  • what hairs....
