Message From Emosi Lomata...The Fijian Musician Behind the song RUB OUT THEIR STYLE......
This is my Protest against the Dictatorship and Political Upheaval in Fiji caused by the brutal Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.
Since overthrowing the democratically elected government in 2006, scores of Bainimarama's opponents, people who chose to speak up against his actions have been hauled to the barracks where they have been held for days, sometimes weeks, beaten and, in the case of some women, had their heads shaved before being marched to exhaustion.
Citizens of Fiji are now too frightened to voice their opinions for fear of persecution and brutal physical attacks from Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama's regime.
