  • The electric piano sounds awesome at the beginning and again in the middle. This stuff is so stinking classic,it will be perfectly appropriate for any generation! They just need to get the ears out of the gutter of rap and Bieber and Cyrus and listen to some real rock music..........Then they will know...............

  • I'm sick of tra la dahs and lah dee dahs.

    Brilliant...

  • PEOPLE DONT REALIZE HOW IMPORTANT THIS ARTIST OF OUR TIME REALLY IS.

  • Captain Fantastic And The Brown Dirt Cowboy (1975) is Elton John's last masterpiece, ending a long series of ones. In this song, I love the piano part!

  • luvtotruck ... It was Gus Dudgeon who used to do all the orchestral stuff, then James Newton howard, from Caribou/Rock of the Westies onwards.

  • Saw him, and the new Band play this at the Wembley Stadium all dayer, Stackridge, Rufus, Joe Walsh, The Eagles,(their first European Tour) ,The Beach Boys, then Elton To finish it off.

It was very risky to follow The Beach Boys, as they played two hours of Hits, but he pulled it off.

The whole album was played, and then his big hits, Funeral for a friend,Saturday Nights Alright,( with Caleb Quaye doing a Chuck Berry Duckwalk all over the stage.) a brilliant days music, for only £25 .

  • @EltonJohnRocketMan Very true.

  • A drummer I know, this was once his favorite tune, but he never wrote a song. God bless!

  • @OldMusicOnVinyl1 Me too

  • good ole days

    sorrowful whale la dee da

    greatness
