It's a pretty waterfall, not silly. NYC did not cause natures landslides, floods and wildfires! -by the way some idiots started the last wildfire in CA with a candle! Oh and our mayor bloomberg, initiated this, so boo hoo for u.

All the money for these was raised by private donors, not tax payer's money, and is expected to generate over 50 million in tourist revenue which will stimulate the economy. Not to mention it is a brilliant art installation, and it looks great for the city and the country as a whole to have a work of art of this magnitude. This has nothing to do with you are whining about and you are taking out your ignorant frustration on the wrong things.

Do you people in NYC have ANY IDEA AT ALL how bad this looks to the nation? We antied up our money for you guys when 911 hit and IT HURT our wallets but we love you guys and wanted to help. Meanwhile out here in the HINTERLAND of America people are loosing their homes to bad bank practices and floods, wildfires, landslides, etc. and WHERE IS THE MONEY FROM NYC TO HELP THE PEOPLE OUT HERE? You put up a silly waterfall with it instead? SHAME ON NEW YORK. This stinks!
