Weird, isn't it? I have had this since at least 12-14 years ago when I was around 15. I remember when I was first having light sensitivity issues and after a few doctors they said it was this (also called RAPD). They speculated it may have been from a bad sinus (or other) infection as I had a lot of them as a teenager. The only effects I have from it is increased light sensitivity (need my sunglasses every day, especially in FL) and it takes an extra second to transition from near to close.

nice very clear .... for others : marcus-gunn pupil is a reflex in which a damaged unilateral or asymmetrical afferant visual pathway cause relative dilatation in the affected side during a swinging light test.
It's rather referred to recently is Relative Afferent Pupillary Dilatation or Defect. RAPD
