Offroad loggingThe road to the elevator is about 163 on the white boards on forest trunk between Grande Prairie and Grande Cache,an 18% grade, numerous bridges and corners commands all your attention ,not a hill or road to make mistakes on.For the most part if tempatures are cold enough and a little gravel shoving we will run with just one set of chains.Generally have a good split,10,000 kg. more on the drives,gives us good traction.Beautiful country

Itz still TheCaliforniatrucker...but the C-16 has a Higher Torque Rating, and also Horsepower doesn't matter in a Deisel engine ....

As I said a Cat C-16 torque: 2515 ft per Lbs Cat C-15 torque: 1850 ft per Lbs

payload is around 48 tonne on that haul,we will carry up to a 57 tonne payload,not off the elevator though

@TheCaliforniatrucker the horse power is a 475 cat,they call it a 480 has a burner which is a pain in the butt,torque rating is 1850
